Whiplash, portrayed by Mickey Rourke as Ivan Vanko, is a villain in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU), specifically in the movie Iron Man 2 (2010). This version of Whiplash has no clear first appearance based on comic books or original material, as he seems to have been created specifically for that movie.
Vanko, a Russian physicist, has a deep-seated hatred for Tony Stark and his family.
